Filipino Tradition: "Mano Po"

"Mano Po". Kissing the hands of elders especially older relatives is a cherished Filipino tradition handed down from generation to generation. Considered as the defenders of the communities, soldiers are shown the same respect by the young children in their area of assignment. Seeing their 'kuya' soldier, they would say "Mano po!".  (Photo by Pfc Jomar Sarcia)
