Presidential Lingkod Bayan awarding ceremony

     

   
For my various contributions to the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the country as a whole, I was conferred the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award by my Commander-in-Chief, H.E. President Benigno S Aquino III. The awarding was held at the Rizal Hall of Malacanan Palace on September 19, 2012 at around 10:00am. (Malacanang Photo)

These are the awardees of the Civil Service Commission's highest award category, the Presidential Lingkod Bayan Award.

 President Aquino delivered an inspiring speech, telling the story about public servants who made the difference in their respective organizations. (RTVM Youtube video)

After the awarding ceremony, we proceeded to Manila Hotel for the Testimonial Lunch. BGen Romeo 'Romy' Tanalgo of the Philippine Marine Corps led the invocation.
