Major Harold Cabunoc, Army Spokesman, said that the Army is proud of its ‘shooting Generals’ for bringing home championship trophies and glory for the organization.
“The Philippine Army is proud to have senior leaders who are also excellent sports enthusiasts. Marksmanship is one of our core competencies and our senior officers are showing the best examples on how to hone this skill. They are truly the symbol of excellence that every soldier should aspire to become,” Cabunoc said.
Cabunoc also cited that the Philippine Army has long been recognized as the producers of great marksmen.
“It can be recalled that just recently, the Army Shooting Team won numerous gold medals during the 21st ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM). They have distinguished themselves in various international competitions making them one of the best in the ASEAN region.
